Design an app and a responsive website that help small business owners send and track invoices for their services.

My role:
UX designer leading the InvoicePal design.

Responsibilities:
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs and responsive web design.

Paper wireframes

I tried to create an attractive design with good navigation, taking into account mobile devices.

Digital wireframes

The goal was to create a clean design with a clear call to action. The emphasis was on simplicity and a straightforward invoicing process.

Low-fidelity prototype

The user has two options for issuing a new invoice: using the FAB or the hamburger menu.

Mockup

After usability study a colored status has been added directly to the overview of issued invoices, along with a description and date of issue.

The new invoice form has been redesigned. It has been unified for diﬀerent invoice types and CTA buttons have been added that are relevant to the current status.

High-fidelity prototype

After creating the Design Kit, high-fidelity mockups were created and then a Hi-Fi prototype

Design System

The entire design system is consistent and built to support both light and dark modes, with accessibility in mind. It is based on the corporate identity, thoughtfully translated into the digital environment.
